Take gold ore and smith it at a smithing station to a gold bar.
Get a ring mold so that the gold can be molded into a ring.
Options can include different gems that you find.
After smithing to get a gold bar, click the furnace and select the ring on the menu. Gems can be added at this stage.

Sapphire Ring – These rings will net the crafter 40 experience points. They need a crafting level of 20.
Emerald Ring – These rings will net the crafter 55 experience points. They need a crafting level of 27.
Ruby Ring – These rings will net the crafter 70 experience points. They need a crafting level of 34.
Diamond Ring – These rings will net the crafter 85 experience points. They need a crafting level of 43.
